Tax id

Tax id fields are a specialized type of input which let sellers capture a formatted tax id from their customer. Sellers can capture tax ids from over 40 countries and PriceBlocs will validate their format during capture.

Sellers have a variety of presentation controls for inputs including:

• label format
• optional description
• default value

Sellers can capture a tax id from 60 countries which aligns to the allowed tax id types within Stripe,

Format validation

The tax id field will automatically validate the format of the provided id to ensure it matches the expected format for the selected tax id type (e.g US_EIN). However PriceBlocs won't validate that the tax id is valid within a government database.

Saving tax id

PriceBlocs will automatically save the supplied tax id to your customer within Stripe after a successful purchase.
